I write crime fiction with a procedural edge and authentic detail — the kind that comes from having lived it. As a former member of the Drug Squad, I’ve seen first hand how investigations unfold, how lines blur, and how choices echo. My stories draw on real experience, shaped by years in the field and the people who moved through it.

The characters I write are complex, the operations are grounded in reality, because I've done it. In A Detective's Dilemma, the tension is never just for show.

When I’m not writing, you’ll find me walking the countryside, fly fishing, or watching rugby with a pint in my hand. It’s a slower pace than the one I used to live — but the stories? They haven’t stopped.
